I have been a licensed nail technician & salon owner for over 19 years. As you can imagine, this business is my passion. It was my 13 year old daughter who has given me the inspiration to produce this DVD. After years of watching and practicing, she can produce a set of nails that emanate both beauty and perfection. And, after personally training 100's of new people entering this field, the realization that unless we have real life skills, making money at what we do is NOT going to happen. What we learn in school is so extremely valuable. However, the reality is that we can never learn in school what we truly need to know to enter the real world. Attention to detail, enhancing & fine tuning your nail training skills & a true passion to be the "best you can be", along with my DVD can earn you $$$ that you never imagined.
My background consist of owning the same salon for 19 years. The first two years I was strictly a nails only salon. As the industry started to change I diversified into hair care. And, again, as the industry continues to change I diversified into skin care, therapeutic care and wellness. However, I am pleased to say that nail care continues to be 50% of my business.
During my 19 years in business I also worked as an educator for one of the industries leading nail manufacturers. I traveled up & down the East coast of the United States, inwards towards Chicago and straight back down to my home State of Florida. What I learned on the road, working with technicians, salon owners, industry related store Managers and distributors has been an extremely intricate part of the production of this DVD.
I've attended numerous amount of trade shows, worked more then I can count & sat with more round table discussions then most people in this industry will ever experience. These experiences, my education, my passion & the vision of helping as many people as I can succeed, qualifies my production of "How to Fine tune & Enhance Your Nail training skills".
